Chicago Chefs Cook “I Cook For” Benefit: Supporting the Local Food Community

We were proud to sponsor Chicago Chefs Cook’s “I Cook For” benefit on March 26th at the Four Seasons Chicago. It was an inspiring evening that brought together more than 300 guests and an all-star lineup of chefs from across the Chicago culinary community.

As a leading Chicago food distributor and partner to chefs, restaurants, and foodservice operators, supporting events like this is core to who we are. The “I Cook For” benefit, hosted by Chicago Chefs Cook, highlights the power of food to drive meaningful impact beyond the plate.

Throughout the evening, participating chefs presented thoughtfully crafted dishes that reflected both their culinary perspective and the causes they are passionate about. Together, the event raised funds for nonprofits focused on:

  • Immigration support
  • Pediatric cancer care
  • Food access and hunger relief
  • Women’s culinary leadership
  • Sustainable and regenerative agriculture

Events like Chicago Chefs Cook not only celebrate the talent within the hospitality industry, but also reinforce the important role that chefs and food businesses play in building stronger, more resilient communities.

For our team, the night served as a powerful reminder of the connections that define our work. From the farmers growing high-quality produce, to the chefs creating innovative menus, to the organizations working to improve food systems locally and beyond, every part of the chain matters.

As a Midwest-based produce distributor serving Chicago and the surrounding region, we are committed to supporting the people and partnerships that move our industry forward. We are proud to stand alongside chefs and organizations using food as a force for good, and we look forward to continuing to invest in initiatives that strengthen the regional food system.
